ALPACA/LlAMA

 

 

Alpaca’s are from South American and looks like a llama but are smaller in size. There is two types of Alpaca’s: 1. Suri alpaca 2. Huacaya. Alpacas are common in the Andes of southern Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Chile. Their fiber is used for making: Blankets, sweaters, socks, hats, gloves and coats. Alpaca fibers can comes in more than 52 natural colors, which make it ideal for making clothing, blankets and bedding. Alpacas are great animals for use on homesteads and farms. These animals can be fun, friendly and hard workers.
