  • Apple sandalwood paste to scar

  • Lysine is an amino acid that may help preventing infection by the herpes virus. Take lysine or eat foods rich in lysine: legumes, beans, eggs, meat and soybeans.

SORE THROAT

  • Another recipe for a sore throat remedy is a mixture of honey, apple cider vinegar, and warm water. You need a tablespoon each of the honey and vinegar in a small glass of hot water. This is to be consumed, not gargled with.

  • Use a pillow for snore relief, this pillow has a little groove in it, which allows you to hug the pillow and makes it easier to sleep on your side and prevent snoring

  • There’s a ring available to stop snoring, but you can do the same thing as the ring for free. Massage the pinkie fingers of both hands. Press and hold (for 5 mins) the first joint and knuckle, that should stop it

STYE

  • Apply a warm compress
  • Apply a warm compress of parsley tincture (place fresh parsley in bowl, cover with boiling water, soak cloth, wring out)

  • Rub the sty 3 times with gold ring
  • Add 1 teaspoon coriander seeds to 1 cup of boiling water, remove from heat, allow to cool, strain, use this water to wash the affected eye
  • Add a few drops of baby shampoo to a cup of warm water, mix well, soak a cotton ball in the solution, close eyes and use the cotton ball to wash along the base of the eyelashes, rinse with warm water, then apply warm compress for 5 min, 4 x day until gone
  • Apply fresh aloe vera gel to affected eye, leave 15min, rinse off warm water
  • Grate a potato, wrap in cheesecloth, place on the affected eye for 10min, 3 x day until gone
  • Wash hands before and after touching affected eye

SUN SPOTS

  • Dab lemon juice on spots, 2 x day, spots should begin to fade
  • Finely chop up an onion, extract its juice, and apply to sun spots

  • Apply milk, buttermilk or yogurt to spots

  • Mix 1 teaspoon grated horseradish root, 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, and 3 drops rosemary essential oil. Dab on spots with a cotton ball 2 x day
  • Cut a fresh onion, dip it in apple cider vinegar, rub on spots
  • Take some green (not fully ripe) black walnuts, make incisions in shell, rub juice on the spots, it may sting area or turn temporary brown, very effective

SUNBURN

  • Apply tea to sunburn to prevent of skin damage
  • Apply aloe vera gel to area
  • Soak in a bath of cool water 2 cups oatmeal
  • Make a paste of raw egg white and oatmeal and apply to the burn
  • Soak in a cool bath with 2 cups baking soda
  • Essential oils: chamomile and lavender, add a few drops of oil to bath water or cool water and use in a spray bottle.
  • To dry the blistered and burned areas on the skin, apply a mixture of cornstarch and water or cornstarch and baking soda to water and soak the affected part in the solution
  • Lightly dust area with cornstarch after a cool shower
  • Cut some cucumber slices or puree and place over the burn
  • Apply grated potato to the burn or extract the juice of a potato and rub gently over area
